★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From meeting Marcia back in 2019 and throughout several wedding postponements, she was nothing but kind and professional. When my wedding finally did get to happen, I received the most beautiful and DELICIOUS wedding cake (many of my guests said it was the best cake they ever had!). We also ordered assorted sweets which our guests loved as well :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a pleasure to work with Marcia for our wedding cake! During the planning process, she patiently listened to my vision while keeping in mind our budget and came up with a design that matched our theme. On the day of, it was perfectly executed. It looked beautiful. We got the vanilla flavour; in general I am not a huge fan of vanilla, but this vanilla just blew us away. We lived right across from dessert room in Westdale years ago when we went to Mac, looking back I am dissapointed that we never checked it out! Especially now that dessert room is far from where we live but we'll definetely grab something whenever we're in the area ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had ordered a macaron tower for our wedding back in 2018 that was a hit with our guests. There are so many flavours to choose from, but our favourite is definitely the pistachio flavour. Most recently, we ordered a gender reveal cake which our family loved. The Lemon Raspberry flavour is simply divine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was absolutely stunned by the look of the cake I ordered( vanilla late with sugar blossoms). Marcia is so amazing and talented. The cake itself was so fluffy and delicious. I'm not a frosting girl but this frosting was to die for. It is the perfect cake for birthdays or any occasion. 110% recommend getting your cake from here. ps. the place is so beautiful and well decorated.

The cakes/cupcakes/macaroons were absolutely gorgeous and tasted incredible. Everything coordinated perfectly and she executed my vision beautifully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered our wedding cake from the Dessert Room (minus the cake topper). The picture didn’t do justice to the beautiful cake!
First, I loved that the website was transparent in flavour, pricing and style. Really helped to take away wedding planning uncertainties. (Also it was good to know we were not being charged for wedding tax.)
Our wedding cake was chocolate fudge flavor, it was delicious! Rich, spongy and not too sweet. The cake was still very yum even a few days after.
Lastly, just want to thank Marcia for being so friendly and accommodating to work with. Every celebration in our family must have a cake from the Dessert room from now. ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always wanted to have cupcakes for my wedding, but I wanted to have the "cake cutting" experience too! Marcia gave us the best of both worlds. Not to mention the stunning flower each cupcake was made into, all to match our Beauty and the Beast theme. Everything was perfect and she brought my vision to life. Not to mention it all tasted INCREDIBLE.
Would absolutely recommend The Dessert Room for any event where you want a gorgeous, show-stopping cake (or cupcakes, as the case may be!)
