β β β β β TCTC Markham is such a unique place. The ambiance and vibe is unparalleled. You walk in and itβs like walking into the twilight zone; a whole other era. Very cool. And it goes hand in hand with what they sell. Vintage clothing. Every piece that Iβve purchased has been good quality and stands the test of time. The prices are fair too. Most vintage companies will mark items up a LOT but TCTC, I think, wants to make the vintage clothing trend affordable for everyone. The owners are great. They have an impressively high level of product knowledge and theyβre all around down to earth, good people. I highly recommend! They also have a second location in Scarborough at Scarborough Town Centre if Markham is out of your way!

β β β β β Friendly, trusted sellers! Plenty of stock to choose from (updated daily), and professional staffing team ready to assist customers at all times. A hidden gem in the heart of Markham, with pieces at different price points for anybody and everybody. The store features a curated vintage denim bar, featuring brands such as Leviβs, Carhartt and Tommy Hilfiger to name a few. I buy all of my vintage denim from the Clarendon team, and they are a part of my daily wardrobe rotation. Highly recommend a visit to The Clarendon Trading Company!

β β β β β By far one of the best thrifting experience I have had. Now I just get all my denim from Clarendon Co! Amazing selection of vintage wear, even got a sailor moon tee!! If you are looking for a high end thrift where the people truly love what they do this is definitely the place. New pieces weekly to always have something that keeps you coming back. And the owners are so pleasant and make the shopping experience that much better. Watch out Value Village and every other thrift company Clarendon Co is definitely coming for the top spot.

β β β β β I just wanted to share about my recent wholesale experience with Clarendon Co.
Initially I was very exited to find a local company I could order wholesale vintage/preloved clothing from. I placed a $350 order and paid $30 in shipping.
Unfortunately UPS lost my package and so I didnβt receive any of the items I had originally purchased. Which understandably was not the fault of the shipper.
Clarendon co offered to refund me 25% or supply 35 new items at 50% of the original price.
So although I didnβt receive any goods I paid for I eventually decided to bite the bullet & pay half for another 35 items.
I also contacted UPS because I believe that they should refund me for loosing my items. UPS communicated with me that they would only release the final outcome with the shipper due to privacy concerns. I havenβt had any update on how UPS finalized the claim. If they refunded fully or partially at all.
After communicating I would pay the 50% I asked where and when I could pick up the new items. As a single parent I find it easier to know when I have an obligation so I can work around that with my daughters schedule. I didnβt get any follow up from that and just noticed they had taken vacation for the weekend following. After seeing they were back in town. I reached out again and just asked them to put together items for me and I could pick them up. I was rather frustrated at that point that it had been almost 5 weeks and I had yet to receive anything from what I had paid originally and again thereafter.
I really was trying to be patient and understanding as I know everyone has been under extra stress recently with all the changes happening around us. This is why I had good faith that the items they would pick for me would be good!
Unfortunately I received majority of old weathered inventory they didnβt sell. I knew I would get a few questionable items or old stock but I got 25% hoodies which were never included in my original order. I did have sweaters but they were all crew necks. I also received heavy jackets. A few sweatpants & even a pair of slush pants.
It is just very confusing because I felt as though I had been understanding and patient during the entire experience. And I was doing so, in the hopes that I could continue maintaining a good relationship and purchase with them further in the future.
Iβm not sure if itβs just from being so busy with everything else they have going on but it was very disappointing that the level of customer service I received was so lacking.
I hope that in the future they can improve their follow up with customers who are spending a good chunk of money with them so that they donβt end up feeling taken advantage of. I am also hoping to find out what the final decision came to from UPS.
