★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received IV vitamin C treatments from the OICC for several months, and have to say their facility is excellent. With a clean and comfortable infusion room that does not, at all, feel or smell like a chemo ward, there were many good conversations between patients, nurses and naturopaths. For quite some time, this place was my rock in the storm of diagnosis, scans, results and change.
For all that they offer, they are well worth a visit and I'm personally glad to have them as a resource in my dealing with cancer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The OICC Head Start program was a lifeline for me during the early days of my breast cancer diagnosis and continues to provide me with much needed support as I struggle with both the physical and emotional challenges that remain after conventional treatment ends. Following my bilateral mastectomy, the range of motion in both of my arms was limited, but after only three acupuncture treatments I regained my full range of motion. Returning to a “normal" life following a cancer diagnosis is next to impossible, the mind body therapies available at the OICC allow me to manage the stress and anxiety that continues to plague me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to The CHI (the new home for The Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre) for over 8 years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of meeting and receiving integrative care from many of the knowledgeable and talented practitioners. Everyone, including the administrative staff, are kind, helpful, and genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. The CHI team has provided me with ongoing integrative support using a holistic approach that is not only complementary to, but also fills in the gaps of the sometimes siloed focus of conventional medical interventions. I believe this has been crucial to maintaining my overall health and for this I am truly grateful. Ottawa is lucky to have this unique integrative centre and I feel blessed to have access to such an amazing group of dedicated and gifted professionals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been receiving IV Vitamin C and Mistletoe treatments at the Centre for the last 6 months while I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for ovarian cancer. Everyone at the Centre have been absolutely wonderful. I feel so very well cared for during each appointment. I also firmly believe that the Vitamin C and Mistletoe treatments have helped to keep me as healthy as possible during my chemotherapy, and help me push through the chemotherapy treatments, giving me more energy and less of the chemotherapy side effects, like nausea. From what I have heard about other people going through chemotherapy, I have maintained a much higher quality of life than had I not been receiving the Vitamin C and Mistletoe treatments. Thank you to everyone at the Centre.
