I attended this workshop at my work. It was a great experience with a ton of valuable information as well as much needed teachings. I use the tools daily at work and at home. Self compassion is so important and I’m thankful I am able to practice these lessons as well as teach them, and role model them to my two children. We practice one breath for me, one breath for you. I highly recommend these wonderful ladies! Thank you so much Victoria and Carolena!

I paid privately for a session to continue to work through trauma related challenges. I have seen other wonderful therapists and do not need a bleeding heart and prefer forthright individuals to have good dialogue with. However, Victoria was exceptionally cold and aloof and it took me by surprise given the β€œcompassion inspired” work she supposedly does. Being vulnerable already, I left feeling feeling overwhelmed, unheard and that she had no compassion for what I shared. She gave me littke feedback and had no warmth to her at all. She did recommend a book that I already had. I would not recommend her to anyone, especially if you are new to counselling. I found a very engaged and capable therapist since thankfully, but felt I needed to write an honest review about this experience.

I was referred to Victoria for private counselling through my employee benefit plan. I could not have asked for a better fit. I have seen a few different counselors in the past, and while they were all competent and kind, none matched the level of insight and compassion I have experienced with Victoria. I also had the opportunity to attend one of the self compassion workshops and despite my skepticism I ended up enjoying it so much and gained a few crucial life skills. Learning to care for and love myself is changing my life.

Compassion Inspired Health was recommended to me by a friend. I was hesitant at first as I had never been to a counselor and didn’t know what to expect. Victoria was so gentle and understanding. She led me through a series of questions and activities that helped me regain my perspective again. I have learned so much about myself and am feeling more free than ever. The 8 week mindful self-compassion course changed my life. After two years these teachings still enrich my relationships and inspire my practice as a Holistic Nutritionist and yoga instructor. The atmosphere that Victoria and Carolena create is warm, safe and supportive. This is for anyone that is ready to be gentler and kinder to themselves and those around them. I highly recommend!

Victoria creates a warm safe environment and provides gentle insightful quidance that I have benefitted and grown from over the years. Her passion and devotion to the field of self compassion has been an inspiration and changed my life as I use the tools and cards regularly to practice self care, I can’t remember the last time I was frozen with anxiety! I attended a Mindful Self Compassion for Health Professionals workshop with Victoria and Carolena in 2017. The workshop gave me skills to practice better self care which I still use to this day. I loved that the strategies they taught were simple and many can be used on the spot while working in a busy healthcare environment. Since taking the workshop I feel more resilient and therefore provide better care for my clients. Victoria and Carolina are professional and skilled facilitators who created a welcoming and safe environment for all who attended. As I health care professional, I also really enjoyed how they discussed the growing research about self compassion. I would recommend their courses to anyone considering attending.

I did Victoria's Mindful Self Compassion Workshop this year and it was Fantastic. Each week was something new and useful that I could apply to my life. I now have a daily meditation practice because of it. The course is well laid out and very well taught. Its so good I'm considering doing it again. If your considering taking a course, don't consider it any more just sign up. I think the world would be a better place with more self compassion. It ripples through my life and affects those around me. Thank you Victoria for bringing Self compassion into my life. I truly appreciate it.
