A true hidden gem. Filled with artifacts placed in original or composite buildings, this museum gives you a good look into the history of Brooks and reflects what life was probably like through many decades. Instead of simple facts and scientific information, the placards include stories about many of the donors and contributors, people of note in the town's history, and the evolution of Brooks itself, thus making the tour more personal and interesting. If you are going to the dinosaur park, make this your next stop!

This museum is absolutely worth a trip! The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about not only the contents of the museum, but the city and surrounding area. The gift shop has lots of locally made items and are all reasonably priced. The displays themself are well cared for and provide interesting and relevant information about the town's history. Admission was free, with optional donation and I would recommend that anyone travelling through the area makes sure to stop in and check the museum out!

Lots of history! Reminiscent of "Little House on the Prairie". Was free, but we left money in the donation box. Totally worth it!
