Greens, especially on front nine, have a lot of sandy areas, bare spots make putting difficult/fast with no bite

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great lunch on the patio overlooking the golf course. I had a burger on a gluten free bun with hand cut fries. It was very good. My friend had the steak sandwich with gluten free bread and she said it was equally as good. The waitress that served us was very sweet, attentive and helpful. The washrooms were very clean too. This was my first time here and I would eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bridges at Claresholm is a nice 18 hole golf course with carts, restaurant and pro shop. The front nine is older with trees and a few covered bridges, and is relatively flat but the holes are longer in length. The back nine is more prairie but the holes are just as good. The bathrooms on the course look to be well maintained and there is considerable effort spent on sanitization and there is proper signage. About a two minute drive off the highway on a paved road to reach the clubhouse and parking lot. The only thing that would have made our round better is if there was a beer cart service. But couldn't have asked for a better maintained course and definitely worth the drive from Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good course with interesting variety of holes. Front 9 is parkland style and the back 9 is more of a links style. Rough is generally short and forgiving so this makes for relaxing play even for weekend golfers. A couple of greens on the back 9 suffered some winterkill, but are making a comeback. The staff is friendly, and there is a good chance that the club pro will chat with you at the clubhouse either at the start or end of your round. Solid value, friendly service. Go play it!
