★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit on Sunday August 4, 2019. Great shop on the main street with a lovely eclectic Celtic vibe. Selection of odds 'n' end and bric-à-brac near the front which evolves into a proper book store as one moves through the store. Items of personal note - selection of Game of Thrones merchandise, very nice woodwork crafts and decent selection of books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. We recently drove a considerable distance to purchase something promised locally, only to be disappointed in the availability and the service. We then tried The Bookery, where we were helped and treated with the greatest care and consideration. I cannot recommend them highly enough. You don't often come across this kind of service anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my absolute favourite used book store. They have old books, rare books, and just normal used books. They also have gifts, decor, celtic items, and Outlander stuff.
Every time I go I find something I didn’t even realize I was looking for, and I always leave wishing I had bought that one item I put back. They also do psychic readings on occasion. I haven’t been there for that recently, but I have gone for a reading in the past and it was very accurate.
