This place is an absolute gem of a place. Rebecca and Dale are utterly incredible. They treat you like royalty they do so much to make you feel welcome. They went above and beyond for us. I cant reccomend them more highly. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to come back!!

This was our 3rd time staying at an B&B and it was the absolute best place! We wanted to get away from the busy Kelowna area, where we have stayed at a B&B before and wanted to visit Lake Country, having heard about it & researching it online. This trip was to replace our planned trip to Scottsdale in mid-September 2020 and we were looking forward to a relaxing road trip getaway!! Rebecca & Dale truly make you feel so welcome in their beautiful & cozy home, everything was well thought out to make your stay truly enjoyable. I had been contacting Rebecca back and forth trying to plan our trip, which was also one to celebrate our upcoming 28th anniversary in October & my September birthday asking about restaurants, wineries & sites to see in the area. Needless to say, she was extremely helpful & it truly gave us something to look forward to as well the chance to finally meet her face to face. Upon arrival, Rebecca was honestly the most genuine & friendly person you could ever meet and when we met her husband Dale, he was exactly the same. Truly felt like we have known each other before!! The whole family was so welcoming and we wished we had booked more time there instead of 2 nights (also had booked B&B in Balfour near Nelson & stayed in Oliver for last 3 days of our week trip). We had booked the “Grey Room” which was upstairs & had its own ensuite with sunken tub & shower. The queen bed was super comfortable & the room was beautifully appointed with private keyed entry, water, snacks, table side fan, small desk & side bench (also had beach towels in closet!), felt so homey & relaxing! Rebecca showed us the common room which breakfast is served & the breakfast options are listed there, just let her know your choices the day before. They also have water & snacks to take while exploring the area. Everything was super clean & tastefully decorated. Rob & I found a nice bottle of wonderful local red wine & yummy pastries in our room to celebrate our anniversary & birthday, so very thoughtful & truly appreciated!! We went to dinner that Friday night at L’Isola Bella (highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan with their yummy homemade tomato sauce & salad with dressing, all Recipes passed down from owner’s family). When we came back from dinner, we were invited to join them on the deck by the propane fire pits & met the other couple from Montreal who were leaving the next day. Such a fun night getting to know everyone & sharing laughs in such a beautiful setting. We highly recommend visiting Gray Monk Winery (great wines for the price, particularly their Pinot Gris, Merlot & Latitude 50 red/white wines), L’Isola Bella restaurant, The Jammery gift shop & Kangaroo Farm, both near Kelowna airport. Rob and I have told all our friends about Blue House & can’t wait to go back!! We would never have known about this gem if not for looking outside the big city and it was the highlight of our trip.
