Nice space, I attended a Choir!Choir!Choir! event there - staff was friendly and they had a good beer selection. Bathrooms are on the main floor (not a basement), which is a rarity in Toronto.

10/10 saw my favorite band Peach Kelli Pop and had a great time, even got to interact with the band a lot. They had shirts for sale which was also cool. The Atmosphere was very nice, good place for a date, I think I saw some people just there alone chilling. The stuff was SUPER friendly! Made my night honestly especially the security lady who complimented my girlfriend. Drinks were fairly priced and decent selection, only costs like $10 to see the show which is awesome. The location is also perfect for transit, I don't even live in Toronto and I got there early and left late. 10/10

A relatively small but unique venue for live music. The Baby G was a comfortable environment to watch a concert and accommodated a sizeable crowd, some sitting and some standing. The venue's stage lighting could have been better but the sound quality was acceptable and logically that should be the first priority. Overall not a bad place to experience some local bands.

Terrible non-alcoholic drinks options. Please get better options. Not talking mocktails. But something better than warm no name soda.

The sound system is great, but it is very warm in here. Also, the concert's start time of 8:00 PM was too late. I wished that it would start at 7 PM.

Great venue. Great sound. Love the grant-supported free Sundays, and the fact that this music venue continues to operate against all odds after a difficult pandemic. However, they do suffer from a very noticeable lack of diversity in their performers and audience, both in terms of age and ethnicity. At every show I have gone to here, I have been the only POC aside from the security guard. This is an uncomfortable feeling that I used to mostly experience in the 90s at punk/goth/metal clubs on Queen West. The awkwardness of the stares of other audience members is palpable, when they all of a sudden my presence confronts them with this imbalance. I imagine everyone would rather it not be this way. I often see POCs wander into the club, and then leave after a short bit. I once heard the unfortunate phrase "aggressively white" spoken as a group left. We live in one of the most diverse cities in the world, and I think the presenters at BabyG could try harder to reach outside of their comfort bubble when selecting lineups, this would help to diversify their audiences and create a more welcoming environment. This venue is sick, and I think more Torontonians should experience that.

Was at the BA Johnston show - felt so strongly about my experience that I woke up and wrote this. The staff, particularly the security were friendly, kind and accommodating, sound was great and the vibe in the room awesome. Would recommend.
