β β β β β Mike is The best teacher out there in my opinion!! Did my RO with TFM, passed with flying marks! Doing my 4th class right now and I have no complaints! There's a reason I came back to TFM for 4th class, that's because Mike's way of teaching! Aaron is really good too! and rest of the staff is pretty easy to deal with aswell!! Definitely recommend it!

β β β β β If you want to spend $3,500 for a course that a high-school student can teach then this is the one for you.
I asked before enrolling, "I don't have any experience in this line of work, think I'll be fine to take it?" And I was told that I'd be just fine, and that they have an excellent success rate, this may be true in terms of passing their program, however the goal should be to get the students ticketed.
I asked three times before beginning this course if it's safe for me to do so because I was green to the industry and each time I was told not to worry; half way through the program one of the teachers asked, " do you have any experience doing this work?"...
If you're going to teach people anything in life, actually teach them, anyone can hold a book and read it to a group of people and get to the last page and end the day, that's not teaching a classroom full of people and in that regard anyone with a grade 12 education can teach the class.
My final thought to why I gave this company a 1 star review is that when a student fails on your behalf, you may want to tutor them for free considering the fact the course was $3,500, anyone reading this, the tutoring is $126 an hour! And as I did my first tutoring session I was baffled to go over a practice test and have the guy tutoring me tell me - on multiple occasions that he didn't know the answer to the question we were going over.
I could go on and on, and don't get me wrong you guys are nice, but I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

β β β β β I want to say huge Thank you to Mike and TFM School for teaching me 4th Class Power Engineering Part B course this fall. These 4 weeks were so productive and I learned a lot of information and material which I will use in my future career. I have done Part A by myself online through BCIT and it took me almost a year, but with TFM it took me only a month with all the explanation and main topics in details. Mike was always professional, creative, positive and always asked us if we have any questions or concerns about anything. I would suggest this school to all my friends who will be interesting to take a Power Engineering course.

β β β β β I had a great time attending this school for my 4th class power engineer certificate. Mike is a great teacher who does his best to help you out and make sure you understand the material thoroughly. They even have a power lab you can attend to learn more about what you are learning in practical terms. I definitely recommend pre-reading before you attend the class. Aaron was very helpful when I attended the power lab and answered all my questions.

β β β β β My experience at TFM has been exceptional. The instructors are truly invested in students education and their growth. I was green to the industry and small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled me to gain confidence.
They teach value lessons and have plenty of experience. I got a job within weeks after passing both certification exams (Fourth Class) and it's been a great journey so far.

β β β β β I attended my Class 5 power engineering at this school and I liked it so much I came back and did my Class 4 power engineering successfully both times. I am currently attending the firing time (work experience) and have found the staff at this school has a high standard of professionalism, are quite patient and knowledgeable and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into this industry. The courses are demanding and require your full attention and dedication throughout, all that's required from any student is dedication and attention. Thank you so much Mike, Aaron & Collin for your hard work and for sharing your knowledge, I thoroughly enjoy every minute I spend at the school. All the best to you guys.
