★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and nice one way loop. Be carefoul there is lots of ways but only one is the right one. Check the trees there are small tags. Follow them.
I do not recommend this for novice.
Enjoy your ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great cross-country style course!
Great for bringing mountain-bike beginners. All well-built and maintained trails, a handful of short grunts up, and several down-hill sections that are swoopy and fun!
Love this course!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Using my e-bike, I've discovered how much fun this trail is. On Cartwright Mountain, the trail, at times very narrow and on the edge of a steep slope, will give you lots of thrills as you zoom down after a climb. But it's not all just one climb - it's many - so it's a series of ups and downs. I'm using a Garmin 830 GPS on my bike which helps me find my way, as the mountain is criss-crossed with other trails as well. While my GPS showed me the trail, it didn't show me the suggested riding direction. That's what I use the app, Trailforks, for. I think this trail could be ridden in any season during the year, but I've done it in early fall. Recent rainfall had certainly helped to keep the dust down, and had packed the soils to give my tires good traction. Even in the hot summer this would be a good trail to walk to ride - lots of shade in many areas.
