Terra Nova Salon & Day Spa

This was my very first visit to this spa and what a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. I’m very pleased with my visit and will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this spa?

i went in for a brazilian wax before i went on vacation to punta cana. when i got there the reception staff was nice and within 5 minutes after my appointment time the girl waxing me came down to get me. she was nice and talkative. it seemed as if she was rushing and wasn’t very precise. for my back side she told me to lay on my side which seemed odd as she had to kneel down beside me in a very tight space and i couldn’t imagine the lighting being very good. at the end she didn’t go in with tweezers or anything like that. when she left to let me get dressed as i was getting off the table i got stuck to the paper they put down and on my drive to my nail appointment which was right after i was completely stuck together down there which was extremely uncomfortable and ended up having to ask my nail lady at the end for wax remover as they do waxing there. fast forward to getting home i noticed there was a few spots in the front that were missed and not just a few hair but a good size patch on either side and then on my back side there was still tons of hair that should have been waxed off that wasn’t. it makes sense because i only remember feeling her do maybe 1/2 strips on each side while i was on my side. least to say i’m disappointed as i paid 84$ for a wax that didn’t even get half of the hair. the only reason i went here was because i had a gift certificate. usually i go else where and am always satisfied, they get all of the hair and it is much cheaper. will not even be returning to use the rest of my gift certificate as i will have to get waxed again to get the rest of the hair.

I absolutely love going here for my pedicures. Brooke and Alina are the best I just started seeing Jen for my hair and she made me feel welcome and very comfortable. I'm going to try getting a facial next .

It was my first time going to Terra Nova this week and absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a new place to try out. I am SO happy with the results of my hair by Karli and will definitely be going back. I went in with a box dye mishap & Karli transformed my hair perfectly. And the price was a lot better than what I have paid at other places for a cut and colour.

I cannot express how happy I was with my results. Jen listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted and more! In my 64 yrs this is only the 2nd time I've been so pleased...and I am not that hard to please lol. The key is, she listened and did a fantastic job. Her colouring skills amazed me (blending grey with natural and box dye). I can't believe how many amazing compliments I've received...and tons of compliments on social media. Thank you Jen! You're amazing ? ?

Stylists are great, but I’ve gotta say, the receptionists are rude as HELL, especially one in particular by the name of Michelle. If you ever get her on the phone, just hang up, because she’ll cut you off as you’re trying to speak, have attitude with you, and treat you like you’re trash. How on earth she’s still employed there is beyond me, and it really puts the business in a negative light. Would have very much continued my business here, but I switched to a different salon where their receptionists actually value you. Don’t bother spend your $100, $180, $300, whatever price they give you at the time for the exact same service you get every time. The biggest joke of a salon I’ve ever been to.

I love going to Terra Nova for whatever spa or salon need I have. Everyone is so extremely kind, generous and talented. Michelle at the front desk is the nicest person and will help you find the right person for your needs. I look for excuses to visit.

I went in to get my hair done yesterday, and the end result didn’t turn out quite as I was expecting, although it was gorgeous, just not at all the style I was looking for. Me being very timid about confrontation, left a review, stating that the customer service and hair service was great, just the end result was an issue. The salon got into contact with almost immediately after wards to rectify the situation and make sure I came out with hair I liked. I went in initially on Monday, and am going back in on Thursday to get the hair fixed. As someone who doesn’t deal well with expressing when I’m not satisfied, they were very kind and understanding, and helpful upon seeing my review, and eased any anxiety I had towards the situation.
