I have used in a couple of times now, he has always impressed me.He will look at every inch of a home and give you the full breakdown, followed by a very detailed final report. Dave took time to explain everything in detail and made sure that we were comfortable with his findings and his process. Moreover, despite it being a record rainfall day outside, Dave still ensured he inspected the roof and gave us great comfort with his overall report. I would definitely recommend Dave (and Tempest Inspections) to anyone who may be looking for an inspector. You will not be disappointed.

He was so attention to the details and able to write for us a well descriptive report that shows all the concerns of the property.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had Dave inspect two houses for me recently (repeat business is the ultimate vote of confidence!). I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and VERY PATIENT and welcoming of my many questions. The first house he inspected, he uncovered major issues which led me to give it a pass, which is exactly why you bring in the experts in the first place. His thorough inspection report not only lists discovered issues and their suggested fix, but also best practices and to-dos (for example: "this picture is of the outdoor water hose valve - make sure to shut off during winter to prevent water freezing in pipes") so it reads like a future home maintenance manual. He also advised me on several things to do and not do if I were to buy the property. I expect to recommend Dave to friends and family in the future. Highest recommendations A++.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Dave do the inspection on our home purchase and was pleasantly surprised with how responsive he was prior to our appointment.
Once inspection day arrived, Dave was punctual and did his job very throughly.
He did not rush through the process even though he’s must’ve done this hundreds if not thousands of times and spotted things that we did not during our first 2 visits.
After he was completed, he did a walk through with us to discuss his findings and recommended what could be done to fix any of the issues he found.
While most companies would no longer bother respond to messages after receiving payment, Dave reached out to US and asked if we had read through our inspection report and if we any further questions.
We felt taken care of from beginning to end and his prices were very competitive with the other companies I contacted as well.
Will definitely be using him again if we need another inspection completed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've dealt with a few Home inspectors over the years and I have to say, Dave is the best I one I have had. I will not use another home inspector moving forward.
Dave was friendly, personable, and informative. He was able to quickly identify the highlights and lowlights of the home and able to inform you of solutions to issues very quickly.
Often times, you are left waiting a few days to get the full report sent to you. Not with Dave! I received my report on the same day which was amazing!
If you are actively looking for someone to inspect your home, I wouldn't look much further for, you've found your guy Dave at Tempest inspections!
