 Renshi Trevor is very involved with his students and his teaching is an authentic intervention where he invites students to ask questions, to participate in an atmosphere favorable to learning. I’m not very coordinated but Renshi Trevor was very patient with me for the beginner karate class and he really took his time to help me with each move. Great sense of community in the class as well, I didn’t feel intimidated or as if it was all eyes-on-me.

I love being able to do a family class with my son, he loves his karate classes (Goju Ryu style), it teaches them so much more then just technic and self defense. It teaches them discipline, respect, self improvement and to care for themselves.
I'm loving the result I'm getting out of the kickboxing classes in every aspect of my life the commitment and the weight loss is a bonus!
The dojo is family oriented and there is always a great atmosphere in all the classes. We have been there for 8 months and we love it ? Thank you Team Elite

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the good fortune to train with Renshi Persaud when I could no longer train with my own organization. I started going in September when COVID was still in effect. He and his staff were diligent in keeping everyone safe, distanced and clean.
As a black belt, he recognized my training and taught me some things that I didn't even know from my previous training. He treated me with respect and understood that some of my previous training might take some time to correct. He was extremely patient and respectful at all points, even understanding my personal limitations due to health.
I would recommend Team Elite Martial Arts for anyone, adult or child. He and his family have a wonderful set of principles that anyone should welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son took part in training here. Trevor and his family are awesome, encourages team morale and ensures everyone is comfortable with the content of the class. The facility itself is clean, welcoming and drives discipline and engagement. Also always makes sure the kids have a bit of fun during some of the holiday seasons like laser tag for halloween! Highly recommend for your training needs, great spot for the whole family.
