★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There seems to be some misunderstanding here. This site is for the Tea Emporium, and it is the best place in Victoria for loose tea. Forget the trendy places in the malls like David's, and come here for a good selection, friendly service, and knowledgable owners. And please, let's leave any discussion of the cafe next door out of here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in today to buy a gift. There used to be an awesome friendly fellow that was there. Today I was the only customer and I felt like I was evesdropping listening to the 'phone conversation of the sales person. I was acknowledged only as my hand was on the doorknob to leave. There's a great local honey farm store nearby so was able to shop locally. Never again Tea Emporiam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've driven by this place a thousand time and today, at the start of a rain storm, I decided to pull in. What a delightful surprise! This is not a tea shop (though of course they sell quality tea) this is an amazing boutique of incredibly well-selected Vancouver Island made gifts and decor. Fantastic selection of "Republic of Vancouver Island" merch, beautiful local art cards, purses, local yew wood salt and pepper shakers, art cards, jewelry, pottery, etc etc. Someone could do all their Christmas shopping here. Anyway, it was a totally unexpected gem of a place, highly recommend.
