TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Staff is always really friendly and helpful. They never seem to be trying to rush the customer which is always nice. Nice location as well. Easy to get to if you are a pedestrian.

Imagine you go to YOUR bank, the one you have been doing business with for 12 years, and you are told "My manager has no interest in helping you". Excuse me, what????? This is what happened: I opened a GBP account and deposited a check in GBP in my account at this branch. (I was simply transferring funds from my HSBC GBP account to TD). TD deposited my check and, after that, I received a phone call, and I was told that the funds would be frozen for 30 days. This was the time needed for TD to make sure that the money was actually there. As I was given no choice (they had already deposited the check without making me aware of the wait time first), I agreed to that. Two weeks later I went back to the bank and asked them if they would be able to exchange the funds from GBP to Cad as it was a particular favourable exchange rate on that particular day. I acknowledged that It was NOT my attention to withdraw any funds. I simply wanted an exchange from GBP to Cad. The funds would remain with TD and I volunteered to pay any extra cost that TD may have occurred by this operation (in case the funds would not be cleared by HSBC Canada). I waited at the bank for over an hour, it seems like every one was talking to their managers and they were being very helpful actually. Yet, the last guy I spoke with (He was a manager himself) told me literally "My manger has no interest in helping you". Those words were so inappropriate or ill-chosen that I actually laughed my head off. Excuse me, what???? You have no interest in helping me out? I have been paying you for 12 years and NOW you are telling me that you have no interest in all the business I have been given you??? Funny story to hear but so SAD for TD and the people they employ. Of Course, I will take my business back to HSBC.

I had an awful experience on the TD VISA phone line - I had a simple question, but because I could not answer the gazillion questions they asked me to confirm my identity, they simply de-activated my card! They said I had to go in person to the branch to get this sorted out, which I did. Gale, the very delightful and friendly lady at the front desk, greeted me, listened to my sad tale, made a couple of phone calls, filled out a form for me and fixed my issues. She even told me that I shouldn't be paying an annual fee for my card. Gale was super-helpful, smart, saved me money & made my day.

I have a medical exemption and have been advised not to wear a mask by my doctor. The teller was nice enough to ignore that quack bs and forced me to wear a mask. Top notch coercion!

They are professional, kind, and local Everyone there is so welcoming and they really make you feel like an important person. You just don’t get that kind of personal touch when banking with others TD branches .I appreciate all the staff but My regards is in special to JASINTHA and KEI for this amazing experience!!!! This both make diference and deserve a promotion.

Professional, friendly, attentive staff who are great on the day-to-day stuff, and try very hard to resolve issues quickly. Although I’ve always been happy with anyone I’ve dealt with here, Kevin really impressed us with something he (cheerfully!) helped us with late on a Friday afternoon.
