★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This take out restaurant was recommended to us by a family friend and we’re glad we tried it. We initially ordered their mutton biriyani and fried fish and it easily became our new go-to. We’ve also ordered catering from here and the process went smoothly and the food was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Summary: (disclaimer:tasted south indian food for the first time.) The taste was good. Great customer service, clean place, local restaurant. Price is consistent with this type of restaurant (see pic), no dine in option. Halal (didnot see certificate- do your own check)
Gave 5/5 because this is the first time I am trying this type of food & based on their customer service & price.
In details:
-Halal: big halal sign. The guy confirms everything is halal. Didnot ask for certificate. Please do your own check.
-Size: the small fish curry & chicken curry was a decent size for the amount paid. The dosa & idly seem to be a bit pricey but maybe that is the right price for this food.
-Taste: Overall good. Was a good first experience with this type of cuisine. The sweet was a good finish.
- Price: see picture. Consistent with what you see in the market for this type of restaurant
- Customer service: the guy did a great effort explaining the different dishes. Was courteous and I even got 10% off since this was the first day. Keep it up sir.
-Cleanliness: is very clean. A quick peak in the kitchen area and everything looked clean. (Its new)
- parking: ample
- washroom: didnot see any.

Its just the kind of authentic fresh south Indian food that would take you back to your hometown..it tastes more like warm home-cooked meal than the ones we get in restaurants, the food is very simple, absolutely easy on stomach yet flavorful & tasty. We ordered a masala Dosa, I wish it had a tad bit more of curry leaves flavor, otherwise it was just on point, warm, tasty & a perfect comfort food , just as a dosa should be!! It was pretty filling too.
Well the dosa is served with Sambhar, & two small portions of chutneys.. the sambhar was awesome in taste, neither too thick nor too runny with perfect texture, however I also wanted tad bit imli on it & voila!!
..the chutneys (coconut & tomato chutney) were awesome, BUT DEFINITELY I MISSED having the gun powder & the authentic garlic chutney…if the owners are reading this, plz plz introduce the famous finger licking garlic chutney in the sides, it will definitely be a game changer for people like me !!!
I loved the neat & clean decor, its just take away and you get your food with a smile from the owner!! Definitely coming back..a much needed home like south Indian food just in the hood is the best thing to happen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy that we got new South Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood. We ordered takeout on Saturday afternoon.
We had Podi Idli, Masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, Onion Uthappam and Chicken Biryani. Everything was so delicious and yummy. We loved the Podi Idli most as it was so flavourful and soft and melted in mouth. Sambar and chutneys were good too. Would definitely be going here again.
Great place, good portion, authentic food and decent price.
Highly recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AWESOME food!!! “Tasty Foods” really lives up to their name! The food was warm, fresh and well portioned and the staff were so welcoming and nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good South Indian food experience, I know i’ll be getting food from here for all my friends and family :)

We took home the fried king fish, curried king fish, parottas and chicken Biryani.
Very happy to have found a South Indian place so close to us.
Food was good. Good portion sizes and tasty.
The Biryani was uniquely sound Indian.
The owner was very nice to talk to.
