★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tara has a very gentle yet effective touch and she is a very skilled masseuse. I went for a full body massage after a full day of skiing which left my body sore all over and in addition to that, I had aches in my neck and shoulders from staring at my laptop all day. During the session, Tara was very accommodating by checking in to make sure she was applying the right amount of pressure and eventually, I dozed off. When I woke up, I felt very relaxed and calm, and the aches in my body were relieved. I would definitely come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tara gave me a deeply relaxing massage, leaving me feeling rejuvenated. She started and ended the session by playing a Tibetan singing bowl, helping my mind slow down and connect to the moment. A big part of the massage session was lymphatic drainage -- she explained how she works from surface layers, then down into muscles and deeper tissues. Tara combined this with aromatherapy (I chose geranium and rosemary) and acupressure massage. The acupressure was very helpful for releasing tension in my shoulders, upper back and hips. Tara also spent some extra time working on my mouse-fatigued computer hand. And she did some magnetic acupressure cupping for plantar fasciitis, which affects one of my feet. At the end of the session, I fell into a deep sleep for a short time, and awoke feeling refreshed. Overall it was a wonderful session - just what I needed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for aromatherapy massage after finishing a stressful semester of grad school. I was carrying residual stress in my body and my back and neck were stiff. My massage experience with Tara was wonderful. She began the session with Tibetan singing bowls that helped with relaxation, and used essential oils-infused massage oils that smelled very good. I ended up falling deeply asleep and when I woke up, I felt completely rejuvenated. My neck and back aches were gone and it felt like I had done a full session of yoga because I felt loose and limbered up. Tara was very accommodating of any specific requests I had (to focus on my neck and back) and has very sweet, caring energy. She has received training in numerous types of massage and treatment that are hard to find in Victoria. I highly recommend visiting Tara for anyone who would like to treat a problem area or to relax!
