★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family took in the Festival of Trees today and had a wonderful time. Given the circumstances surrounding the past couple years and the new QR code scanning, the volunteers were very friendly and apologetic while they were getting everything figured out (which did not take long). The festival itself was as always a fabulous time with my kids. Very clean. Very spaced out this year. We always have a positive experience when we visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wad at the northern lights Christmas display. Absolutely beautiful as usual. Sure miss those fabulous volunteers, bonfire, hot chocolate and, of course, the horses and wagon drivers that make every child happy. Hopefully next year we can see them all again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to a few events here over the years. My favorite is the Festival of Lights every December. The lights are fantastic and my family and I go back almost every year. The high light for me is "The Peeing Beaver" now I know he's just chewing a tree down but the clown in me gets a mischievous laugh out of that.
We've attended a couple of home and garden shows and recently the stompeed.
We bought tickets for the chuck wagons but we were there for the Dancing in The Dirt.
