★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food, both Korean and western (ie. Hamburgers). I have had the Beef Bulgogi 3x now and I think I'm finally ready to try a new yummy dish. Not much on decor, but the prices are reasonable and the people that run it are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have yet to have a meal at the Tappen Esso I didnt like... Mays wonton soup is amazing... tonight my husband had fish and chips it was amazing... the french fries are to die for crispy just like they should be the fish was big thick chucks with a batter that is crispy lite and tasty... So worth going and eating there... oh and her breakfast is so worth the stop. Enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I met a friend for breakfast. It wasn't something I would rave about like some of the other restaurants I've posted about. It was clean, the service was great and we didn't wait long for our order. I wasn't impressed with the coffee as I enjoy a good strong cup of java with flavor. It was very watered down and weak. I never say no to a refill but barely managed to finish the first one. I had the meat lovers omelet (ham, sausage and bacon) which included hashbrowns and toast. The meat was processed and the omelet was made with powdered egg mix. I never found any bacon in it. Tons of ham. There was no cheese added which was a surprise. What omelet doesn't have cheese right? Nothing was homemade. It cost $9.99 so I guess you get what you pay for. If you don't mind an average breakfast that's cost saving and quick, then this is for you. Will I go back again? Probably not for breakfast.
However I did hear their Korean dishes at supper time are worth trying.
Stay tuned. We're going back next week for supper to give them a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure of the new name of this restaurant. The Korean food is great, nice and fresh. It is not fancy but good fresh food and a view of the Shuswap. They even have PoP Shoppe soda! We had the spicy bulgogi and bibimbap

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Korean food! Excellent friendly service. Limited selection of dishes but every dish is exceptional. Home-fermented soy sauce that is truly the best thing I've ever had on rice. Clean, family-run restaurant that is somewhat hidden beside a gas-station but don't drive by this treasure. If you are a larger group, call ahead for take away as this is a family-run restaurant.
