The best fluffy naan. It’s a very small place with the best naan in the lower mainland. Trust me you will love it. The food is not Indian spicy and was really good for my very sensitive pallet and stomach. Love it. I will be back again!!

Ratings Scale 0 - 10 Variety: 8 Food Quality: 7 (depends on item) Customer Service: 8 Environment: 5 Cleaning: 6 Cost: 7 The place isn't fancy but serves decent Halal desi food. Was a little disappointed by the interior infact as it was not properly maintained and did not seem too clean. But dine in isn't open right now and I was going to take away so not that big of a deal I suppose (for now anyway). Anyway coming to the food I ordered three items, chicken Biryani, chicken karahi and lamb kabab with naan. Biryani was quite good. It was fresh and quantity of rice was plenty although the meat consisted of about 1.5 chicken legs. So not that much. But a solid 8 out of 10 on taste and quality. The other 2 items were quite mediocre. Lamb kabab was overcooked, burnt and thus it was also very dry. For the quantity and quality, it's not worth it. Chicken karahi was also more like chicken gravy. If it was gravy, I could've given it a 7/10. But for a karahi, it can't get more than 5/10. Lastly, to mention service, it was fine. If I ever go again, it'll be for the Biryani, nothing else.

Ordered from lamb biryani from uber eats. Delivery was fast, no uttensils give as i requested. it is very bland, i can’t taste the spices on the rice or lamb. Though i bite through some chuck of spice a coulple of times while eating. i think it might be star anise or something else and if you ever accidentally bite a spice, you know it tastes unpleaseant. Lamb still has bones with it which is not a big problem, but there is so much muscle in the lamb that they did not chop off that it is very hard to chew on. Would not recommend base on my personal experience cause it is the worst biryani i’ve tasted so far.

I'm here quite often. The menu is simple but the owner is amazing. The food quantity, quality, pricing is immaculate. The service is always good. The seating capacity here is small. There is wheelchair accessible entrance. I've been coming here since the opening and have built a great friendship with the owner. 5 stars comes from the great experience I receive every time I call. Thanks tandoori oven for your on going consistent service. I'll see you guys soon. Happy eating folks!

I had a craving for samosas, & saw a food blogger had talked about coming here, so I got 1 order for beef & veggie, along with a goat biryani. Traditional samosas have thick crust & triangular cone shape, yet these samosas here are thin & more flat, which I'd prefer since easier to eat & less carbs. I liked the beef ones better as the veggie ones were too spicy hot for me. They were still crispy if u put it in the air fryer x 1 min each side the next day :) For the goat, it was dry, but unsure if that's normal; it's my 1st time eating goat. Biryani was humungous in portions so had it for a week. It was just too spicy hot for me, which was not what I'd expected. I had biryani before at work made by staff for fund raising, so I was expecting those favors, which was the best rice dish I'd ever had. Anyway, I'll definitely come back here for the beef samosas next time I have craving again :D

Again we needed a snack while running around, popped in here and we're very happy we did. Again should have taken photos before we started eating but it smelled so good were just dove in. Lamb and chicken very juicy and flavourful, raita was fabulous, green chutney was a little zippy but bright, chickpeas really tender and creamy, chicken and beef samosas so good they're gone. Sorry no pic. Can't wait to go back?
