E	Emma Bass on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service from an owner ever. Two of us had our skates sharpened there at the same time and received a terrible job. One of us went back the next day and was treated very well by the staff. They advised her to tell me to come in too and talk to Todd, the owner. When I went in and spoke to the owner, he gave me, the customer, a hard time and implied that I didn't know what a good sharpening was and couldn't skate. He was arrogant ("nobody in Guelph has sharpened more skates than me") and very unfriendly. I am so glad I didn't waste my money on one of their skate sharpening cards and I will never recommend this shop; not because of the sharpening itself but because of the treatment by the owner. God's gift to hockey apparently. To the rest of the staff, keep up the good work; sorry you have such a poor example to work for.

The personal service for fitting and advice on different products is immeasurable. Just bought new shin guards and after talking with their staff, they gave me suggestions and made sure that I was totally happy with my purchase. I'm so happy that they remain an important part of Guelph"s sporting community.

Todd is great and arguably the most knowledgeable person in town for equipment. Get a VIP membership for $50 and that includes 24 skate sharpenings + 10% off purchases.

I came right in to the store and dealt with, I think the owner. He was also amazing. Help huge with finding the right size for my son and explained why his current skates were hurting him. I will for sure be back here for our next skate purchase. #shopguelph

A	Amber Keogh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my brand new figure skates here to have them sharpened and to have the first pick (the lowest one) removed. THE MAN REMOVED ALL MY PICKS! I told the man sharpening the skates I wanted the front one taken off and pointed to it. Once I realized it looked like he was taking off more than one pick I asked him to make sure he was just removing one. He answered no I took them all off. He asked if I wanted him to only take off one pick on the second skate but I told him to just make them match as it would make no sense. He gave me a half hearted apology and sent me on my way. At the check out I brought it up with the lady working there. She apologized but said that all she could do was give me 6 free skate sharpenings and not charge me for this visit. THIS WILL NOT COVER THE COST OF MY BRAND NEW SKATES. I'm honestly so disheartned. I didn't know how to respond so I accepted their free sharpening card and left. I'm still so upset as my figure skates are ruined.

Not only have they helped us with last minute skate issues they also have saved us money when a quick fix to my son gear gave us another year instead of having to buy new piece. Only place we get skate sharpened aswell.
J	John G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing store with a wonderful selection of university of Guelph apparel and merchandise. For those wondering, skate rentals are extremely reasonably priced. If you order a pair of skates on saturday, because they're closed on Sunday I believe you get a free extra day for a rental. Don't quote me though!
