β β β β β I bought a box each of frozen brown clams, calamari, cod fillers, and mussels a month before. Everything was fresh and I am willing to order again soon. Mussels were the products of Canada and all the others were from other countries. It would be much better if Sysco carries more local seafood items in the future.

β β β β β Delivery driver comes to Point Grey at 6am when noise bylaw is 7am disturbing residents and he takes out the trees along W 10th Ave with his truck bending and breaking large branches, hard to watch considering thereβs no traffic when heβs parking. Best of all when confronted he laughs and honks in spite as he speeds off. Wow

β β β β β Check in was not too bad, i'd say nice, but what I don't like, I had appointment for 9 AM, but they place me on waiting line after 3 trucks. Kind of first came first served.(!?) Let's see how warehouse staff will handle my 3 pallets... After 40 min got a door... Man in house was very friendly but unloading will be sometime later on... Done! Total time in/out 45 min.

β β β β β I have been running restaurants for 20 years and running a restaurant is not an easy job, but Sysco sure makes it easier. Sysco supplies me with great products and they provide great support developing menu items and making a great looking menu. Sysco stands by it's products and they always make sure I am happy with the products I am receiving. Prices are very good too, I sure saved lots of time shopping around to find what I need. Thank you Sysco and thank you to all the great workers and managers of Sysco...you rock.

β β β β β Trying to get an order picked up from them is always a nightmare. We have called them MULTIPLE times to remove fuel surcharges for items that were picked up instead of delivered. Not only that, but we have sent our driver out of their way to pick-up an order and they end up delivering to us anyway. Wasting our time, our drivers time and their own time. This has happened way too many times and no matter how many times we stress it is for PICK-UP they don't ever seem to get the picture. I can't speak to the product itself though as I don't directly work with it. Simply an administrators headache.

β β β β β So apparently this company advises their drivers to park in residential spaces, literally within five feet from people's living space. Repeatedly blocking residents from their own parking spots despite being warned numerous times. Particularly behind Peaked Pies in the 4100 block of Hastings. They do it consistently with their engines idling, even after residents have complained dozens of times, blatantly disrespecting people that live in the community. Despite the courteous response from the owner, they still do it regularly with no regard for people that live there. Other companies don't operate with a complete disregard for the community, Sysco does. Look at the most recent shot, taken at 6:50 AM outside our residence
