About Sutherland Automotive Speedway
Bill Kusch, a farmer just east of Saskatoon, offered the SSCRA a 23-acre parcel of land for $1 down with ten years to pay off the remaining balance. Once they secured this land, George Frey, Al Bakke, and a few other SSCRA members went to the bank, offered up their homes as security, and obtained the financing needed to start the construction of a new track. This new track was named Bridge City Speedway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We like going to watch the different classes of races. From the little cars that the kids drive to the stock cars to the tough trucks. The entertainment is great. There is a little park for when the kids get antsy. The variety of snacks in the concession will keep your bellies full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an exciting time - and this is just the start of their race season! I sure wish we could be here for the July 11th races when the stands are open to full capacity. An excellent family fun activity for all ages!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've come to the NASCAR race here the last couple of years. Got the VIP package which includes supper and 2 drinks, makes for a nice quick getaway for race fans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great racetrack when we were there for the races there were a few different classes racing that night the mini cup, the bandaleros, sportsman, and super late models.. It was so much fun watching the little kids race the cars were super neat and the consection stand had really great burgers... All of the staff we interacted with were amazing and very informative!!! We will definitely be back!!!
