For take-out, a full order of tuna sushi is now 16.5 dollars compared with 11.50 back in August. And guess what the pandemic was worst back then. Funny thing is when I asked the server how much raise they got, she said "nothing". So basically using pandemic as excuse to get rich. Taking the business elsewhere.

My cup of tea was overflowing when the waiter put it down, I had to ask twice for a tea refill, and I had to remind the waiter I also ordered a chicken teriyaki dish as they didn't give one until I mentioned it. The food was very poorly put together and not worth the price. Almost all my rolls looked very sloppy and were almost falling part. I know inflation is a thing but $6.50 for a dynamite roll is sorta ridiculous for the quality of sushi town. I used to come here for cheap sushi that was decent quality and now it has become expensive sushi and lower quality, which shouldn't mix.

I stopped because I found it hit and miss. I came back post COVID and the quality has really improved. I’ve been back a few times and the quality of the fish and the preparation is excellent . Good value. Usually this place is smoking busy. We came jut before 6 and were seated immediately. Take-out is always busy so it must be good as well. I’m sure you will have a good dining experience whether dine-in or take-out. Word. Jan 22nd, 2022 - Back again. Food and service good as it was before. They cleaned tables beside us with disinfectant, you could smell it. Another good meal. Take out was steadily busy. March 6th, 2022 - Back again. I’ve read unfavourable reviews about the fish. We ordered the large assorted 9 piece Tuna (5) and Salmon (4) sashimi. I polled my adult and 12 year old son ans they unanimously said the fish was very fresh. We ordered the large assorted tempura. It was hot and crisp, no soggy pieces. I like that the tempura is lightly coated. We ordered the Chicken Karage Donburi, it was on promotion with a free Sake Yuzu Pom Bomb or Strawberry Sake Refresher. We got a virgin Yuzu Pom Bomb which was delicious, it came with a slice of dried lemon and a sprig of dried fresh thyme. My pet peeve, this thing drives me nuts: I noticed a small chip on a plate and soy bowl. I can’t stand chipped plates, cups etc. However, my rating remains 5/5. Everyone was very satisfied.
