K	Kim DuBois on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location on Cox Bay. The RV rental was a perfect way to enjoy the beach and outdoors yet still have a warm bed to sleep in. Facilities were clean and well maintained. The surf showers had HOT water, which was excellent in February temperatures. We will be back in April!

It was such a lovely stay we will definitely book again soon ?

We spent the first few nights in one of the sites closest to the beach and the last few nights further back in the forested area - I much preferred the forested area as it felt more private (and happened to be cheaper!).

Short walk from camp sites to the water. Would be 5 stars but $135 per night is too steep for a place without a pool and hot tub. Worth it for the experience, would go back in off season when cheaper.

The close proximity to the beach was awesome. I don't surf, but the beach is awesome and a lot of people enjoying the surf. I will definitely be back in the future, hopefully the road to get out to Tofino gets the attention it needs.
A	Allie Zurowski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An affordable way to stay in Tofino (steps from the beach!) as a family and with friends! I have been coming here since the campground opened a couple of years ago and each time I come there are more improvements and amenities being added. Beautiful bathroom and shower buildings. Warm outdoor showers! And now board and wetsuit rentals I noticed this past weekend. The only thing that we do find a challenge is getting in and out of some of the sites. Depending on the length of your unit and vehicle some spaces are very very tight! All in all though we always made it work and we are looking forward to our next stay.
L	Laura Peterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campground. Can't beat the location, perfect for a moonlit walk on the beach or a morning hike up to the lookout at the left side of the beach. Campground and amenities were very clean and well maintained. The landscaping they've done is lovely and will look great once it grows in a bit, will provide some nice privacy to the sites. The heated bathrooms were a treat! They do have saunas that are able to book but are pricey. Wood is $10 a bundle, not sure if it's cheaper elsewhere in town. Service was friendly, the gal singing show tunes in the morning while she cleaned the bathrooms was a cute touch.
K	Kyra de asis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really good time at Surf Grove campground. Check-in went smooth, we were able to pick another camp spot easily that worked better for my partner and I. Washrooms were heated and sanitized well. Shower rooms were also well-maintained and the showers had hot water. There was a sink outside the washrooms to which they provided people with soap and sponge to wash dishes. The campground was very close to Cox Bay and is perfect during sunsets. Will definitely come back to this place!
