My favorite grocery store! Despite it's modest size, it offers great selections of seafood, meats, cheeses, cold cuts and even organic fruits and veggies. Free parking behind. And their prices beat Provigo, Metro and IGA by a mile! Love this place!

BE CAREFUL!! Do not buy pre washed salad from here! it may be infested with bugs and they will brush it off as if it’s normal to have washed salad filled with bugs. I thought it was a single incident but I had multiple of their salads “washed” AND not washed filled with an abnormal quantity of bugs to the point where no matter how much I washed them, the bugs persisted and I had to throw them. CAUTION!! Be careful with the fish, I have bought salmon that was bad, looked, smelled and tasted awful! I have a had a refund for this but it’s not an excuse to sell rotten food. I will not be coming back! Pa was my favorite for its quality and prices and I have been a loyal customer for years, however, after these incidents I just cannot trust a supermarket that sells washed salad that is infested with bugs and acts as if it’s normal.

Summary: Good prices, great staff, reasonable delivery. The pros: - Unbeatable prices for fruits, vegetables and other produce. - Easy to navigate store with helpful staff. - Generally usually well stocked. - Lots of different types of products, vegan friendly products too. - Their weekly specials are not stringent and often help with weekly food planning by helpfully categorizing the specials. See their website for the flyer. - Grocery delivery is fast and responsive, at $11 flat picking and delivery fee. The cons: - The store has an odd lingering meat/deli/grocer store reminiscent of large produce markets, not a grocery store. - There is not a huge variety in each category. E.g: they carry one or max two types of a certain packaged good. Versus Provigo or Metro where you'll see ample variety of the same type of good like frozen pizzas or pret a manger. - On very rare occasion, a cashier has opted to use a default billing item when a product cannot scan, like "deli product" and ended up charging more than the product itself.

Oh this place is home to me. I visit pa a minimum of once every week and buy my fresh produce from here on a regular basis. They have amazing offers every week on the seasons best and the prices are unbeatable for downtown standards. Especially if you are smart with your purchases, you can end up getting some really high quality products for SO CHEAP. I love everything about this place - the service, the cleanliness, the quality of produce, the offers, priority marketing of whole foods as opposed to junk, and the list goes on. I will miss this place the most when I have to move from downtown.

Great grocery store. The vegetables are fresh almost all the time. They have good quality meat at reasonable prices. Karen who I believe is a supervisor is phenomenal. She has great customer service skills. Also, one of the security agents (male apparently in his forties) is very welcoming and helpful. He will even recommend you stuff if he notices that you are a little iffy about products. Great supermarket!

UPDATE: Third time in a row delivery was delayed 3 hours!! after chosen schedule. You’ve increased everything from food prices to online shopping and delivery fees ($9 + tax!) yet have no respect for your customer’s time. This was the last time I shopped online from you. It is only one block away!! I would recommend to any friend against shopping online from you, except you put a professional for time management of your delivery drivers, etc. P.A. Supermarket is one of the best grocery stores in Montreal, and in Canada! It’s been 6-7 years purchasing from this branch and less than 1% issues. Almost everything is organized, pretty clean, affordable prices and nice weekly discounts. Staff are mostly friendly and managers are hardworking and helpful when needed. Basically no words needed; go and see yourself how popular it is, especially in weekends! Just wished they were open 24/7 or so, and I almost wouldn’t have to do grocery anywhere else!

How do I even start….I LOVE PA! This location in particular has the freshest produce. I believe because of the high turnover, and how busy and bustling it always is, the produce is always fresh Their prices aren’t even comparable. They are by far the best bang for your buck. Their weekly flyer / newsletter is a great way to keep track of specials! They have a new theme every week too which is cute! The staff may seem unapproachable, but they’re actually super helpful! There is always someone there to help you bag your groceries as well! If there is ever a line, it moves quick quick quick! They also have parking in the back which is crazy convenient in the city. Their hours are great, they are pretty much always open. When buying my next house, proximity to a PA will be a factor i consider lol. Truly my favorite grocery store ever.

If you are looking for quality at a good price, PA du Fort has it. The fruits and vegetables department for me is the best because they have a lot of variety. As for the schedules, its best to go in the mornings there are not many people, contrary to the afternoons which is always full. Overall, highly recommended
