★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to make an appointment to bring in our cat , they asked how old is he after I said we are not in their system, once I told 10 years old, she gave me the news that they are not taking new patients . I informed her that that’s very interesting since the person that referred them to us just got two kittens and took it there , and they took them. Then she told me kittens are fine , but they don’t take anyone 5 year of age or older …
wow they are discrimanting against elder animals … speachless !
When I asked about it why, she said because this is what they told her to say … so I asked that for sure she has no knowledge on why they are discriminating on “older animals”? Then she hang up the phone on me . I wasn’t rude. I talked politely , I genuinely wanted to know what this is all about , cause it sure is concerning .
So I am only rating their professionalism , and I can say they got poor value as the age of our cat determined weather they take him as a “new patient” or not .
Why are we not taking him to his old vet ? Cause that’s about 3 hours away… would you cram your cat into a crate and travel 6 hours back and forth to have a vet check him ? That would be cruel, but seems like we have to put our cat to unnecessary stress unless we find a vet that won’t discriminate based on their age .
AWEFUL!

The staff at Sundridge Veterinary Services treated us with compassion and were willing to help us through this sad time with gentleness and genuine caring. I would highly recommend this place of top notch pet care - they care about your pet and you.

My son and I are so glad to have a vet who made us feel ok about leaving our loved ones ❤️ My bank card wouldn’t work but was able to send a etransfer excellent service.
