BEST CAMPING EVER!!! My school friends and I have been coming to Trailside every summer for the past 17 years. We have grown our group to include our spouses and kids... But now that tradition ended when the park turned into an RV only resort. No more tent sites. We have not been able to find an alternative place to camp that matches what Trailside used to offer. Miss this place!

Being going to this park for years. Amazing place beautiful scenery. Problem started when the old manager left and a new company and new manager came in. Now there are more rules then a kindergarten class room. Park used to be a lot more fun when Danny was there now every week receiving emails from management with new rules that have never been enforced. This park was always run smoothly without having to enforce rules and everyone has respected everyone else. I think it is time for a staff make over.

Amazing campground. Immaculate washrooms and showers. Awesome staff and seasonal campers. Awesome beaches with lots to do. Very close to Perry Sound if you need to run and get anything. Will be back for sure with the kids next time. Thank you for a great long weekend.

This was our first experience in a RV Resort. I was impressed with the welcome at the front gate as she was sure to explain all the rules and made sure I understood where I was going on the map. After arriving at the camp site I was disappointed. The site was small and muddy. There was a small patch of grass and shrubs although it provided no privacy or relief from the mud or other visitors. The site was on a 'corner lot' meaning I was surrounded by people in every direction I looked. The family across played their radio station all day, peace and enjoyment of the outdoors was out of the question. The park does seem to have some more treed sites that are used by seasonal visitors who appear to have been there for years. Of course, our visit all went down hill with a HUGE storm system, out of the parks control but left the entire park without hydro. Thankfully the public bathrooms were kept running although showers were out of order. To top all of this off only 4 sites have sewer and the dump station for black water is situated on top of a steep hill, for new drivers this made it difficult. The park also requires you to purchase firewood, $10 for a small bag of wood. I felt this was expensive. They also as they you leave a $20 cash deposit for the pass, that is given back to you when it is returned. I will not be returning.

Honestly this is probably the worst experience I've had at a trailer park. I was there for 4 days/ 3 nights and was kept up most of the night by seasonal campers blasting music and talking very loudly. At 3am I finally called to complain and they came and told the people close to me enjoying a peaceful fire to quit it and go to bed. They did not, however, bother to tell the seasonals to quiet down even when I had stated where the noise came from. Another issue is that I counted on them for firewood. I bought two bags the first night and figured I would just buy more when I needed it, but the office was closed for the next two days. They stated it was an “unexpected emergency” which I completely understand, but closing the office down for three days should not be acceptable. I was also unavailable to return the key card they had provided to get into the park which had a $20 deposit, so I’m out of that money.

We are a family of 4 (us and our 11 yr old twins) and have been loyal seasonal patrons for 5 years. we were just advised we are not being renewed, that we are being kicked out, without any cause or warning. The incredibly rude manager would not provide any reasons for kicking us out and we were told to have our site emptied by the end of the season. We have never had an issue, complaint, or park violation in our 5 years and we are extremely upset that we are being treated like this for absolutely no reason. We have asked repeatedly what we did wrong and the manager refuses to answer and rudely walked away mid conversation. We have always paid our fees and we have improved our site every year, we are dumbfounded as to why we are being evicted. Absolutely the worst management I have ever witnessed, upper management is the same and allow the manager to run the park like a bully in a playground. If you are looking for a seasonal or weekend getaway DO NOT STAY AT TRAILSIDE!!!
