S	STEVE KOITSIS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Sugar Chalet for many years and have been pleased. I have not used this bakery in the past 7yrs and thought let me go back. Not sure if the ownership has changed but I have had a terrible experience from placing the order to e-transfer to the disappointment in the cake. I ordered a birthday cake via email as I was told. Nobody acknowledged my email. I called and was told to e-transfer the money, which is fine but did not know how much as nobody called or emailed me back with details. The taste of the cake itself was not bad, but the design was NOT what I expected and it did not look like the pic I sent. The "green" was a teal and I was told "COLOUR IS SUBJECTIVE". Also, who sends out a birthday cake with NO HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on the cake. I was told it was written on the cardboard that the cake was sitting on. It was NOT anywhere. I also sent an email to express my disappointment on Mon Sept 27 and as of this review still have not been acknowledged. I will not use this bakery again and will NOT recommend it to anyone I know.

We are so grateful that they made everything so easy from start to finish. We will definitely be stopping by just for their delicious cupcakes on a whim. LOVE LOVE LOVE Sugar Chalet!! I took one star off because my family members claimed they had an unpleasant experience with a staff member earlier today who was apparently unfriendly and lacked customer service skills.

The man who answers the phone needs some customer service training. Sad this has always been our go to bakery for any celebration. Time to find a new bakery
R	Rob Arksey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joey and Lisa were very nice to meet. We ordered a taste tester and were surprised to fine a beautiful arrangement of cupcakes to take home and try at our leisure. They also have a nice selection of custom designs to admire in the store.

We added our own fresh flowers and cake topper but they did a great job with creating what we asked for and the flavours were good (I would have liked more fresh strawberry filling but it was good overall). The price was reasonable too. I didn't get a confirmation after placing my order and paying by interac but when I called they answered right away and confirmed my order.
