Structural Composite Technologies Ltd. designs, engineers and manufactures custom fabricated fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) equipment for mining, milling, smelting, refining, processing and manufacturing companies both at home and abroad.
History
Structural Composite Technologies Ltd. (formerly Structural Glass Ltd.) began serving domestic and commercial markets with fibreglass reinforced products in 1961. In 1964, SCT added the industrial product line for INCO in Thompson, Manitoba, and in 1967 the company moved to a new building on Burnett Avenue. Throughout the 1970’s the company started supplying transformer pads and plates for utilities in addition to Leocraft camper and Deltacraft boat. In 2008, Structural Glass Ltd changed their name to Structural Composite Technologies Ltd and moved to a new location, expanding from 17,000 square feet to 55,000 square feet. To this day, Structural Composite Technologies Ltd. continues to grow and diversify while maintaining a focus on products designed for value and engineered to last.
Facility
SCT makes a range of composite products in a 55,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility on the east side of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The building accommodates office, sales, manufacturing, and R & D operations.
