About Strathmore High School
Golden Hills School Division is very pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Raycroft to the
position of Principal of Strathmore High School, effective the start of the 2022/2023 school year.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science with Teacher Certification from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and a Master’s in Education, Leadership Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
For the past five years, Doug has been the Principal of Wheatland Crossing School and prior to this, he
served as an Associate Principal at Strathmore High School. He is a highly skilled administrator and
classroom teacher with over 28 years of experience. His administrative and varied teaching background will serve him well in his new administrative role.
