★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The library has a nice collection of books and videos which I appreciate. I had to take off a few stars because the children’s area is so poorly designed and furnished. The central feature is a set of computers which become a magnet for kids to stand around mesmerized. There are so few opportunities for kids to interact and play together if they are older than about 18 months. For a good comparison, check out the Fish Creek branch in Calgary and the excellent interactive space they have for children. It has many different play stations and allows for kids of many ages to play and interact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a library card and the staff was courteous and friendly. I love the atmosphere. The parking is 2hrs free, which for me, is more than enough time. They have a great selection of books. There is a coffee shop with seating area and a ATM machine outside the library. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My place of peace. Very quiet, good collection of books, magazines, latest movies. And staff always ready to help. Large underground parking lot with two hours free parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strathcona County Library is all you could ask for in a library. They have a nice cafe, some quiet nooks, a learning centre, and a kid's area. I look forward to bringing my daughter here every couple of weeks to get new books. The staff are helpful and courteous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ( Edited Review ) Welcome to Strathcona County Library - This library is relatively new, Your welcome to bring your own computer or u can RENT the library's Laptop's or the provided desktops it's free u just need your photo id for the laptop option, Staff are friendly - Also the Location is very good ( Vickys Restaurant and Bar ) ( Good Location ) ( Relatively new Building )
