★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once i went there on Canada day when i was 7 and they had no blueberry pancakes and i steeped in gosse poop and a man fell from the balcony and died. I was traumatized and now i live in a mental institution...please get me out of here!!!!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fire hall was designed by a famous architect in the mid 70’s and was groundbreaking and edgy at the time and is still relevant today. I remember living in Sherwood Park at the time it was being built and it was cool.

Opened October 23, 1975.
Station #1 used to be the headquarters station for Strathcona County Emergency Services. On January 20, 2014, all Chief Officers, administrative support, Occupational Health, Safety and Training, Emergency Management and Fire Prevention and Investigation moved to Fire Station 6 .
Emergency Communications, Materials Management and Operations are located at Station #1.
The station is closed to the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big thank you to Captain Mike who helped my mother and my almost 10 year old jack russel named Tucker, they both were some what lost and well the fire department came to the rescue, nobody was injured.
