★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't want to cut my split ends, so I decided to go for Candle Therapy or "Velaterapia" which basically burns off the split ends, its an ancient brazilian method, but it works!! Urs was so knowledgeable about hair issues and the correct way to wash hair and how to treat your hair right. And Erica also straightened my hair seamlessly afterwards. I even got a Wet Hair brush from him, cuz I was using a plastic hairbrush this whole time!? If you are hesitant about paying a lot of money for a haircut or for split ends or for any thing hair related, look no further! This is where you'll get the best bang for ur buck. Will definitely visit in 6 months to do it again!! Thank u Urs and Erica :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urs and Erika are always the "highlight" of the month! :) Each time I go in, i don't usually have a plan for my hair, but Urs tends to create something which turns into a masterpiece! I always leave happy, my hair is shiny, perfectly coulored and ready to show it off! Erika leaves me with relaxed with an amazing scalp massage that makes you want to come back for more! I've been going to Strands for 25 years and I wouldn't change my ways!! Thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleased with the 1st keratin hair treatment my 13 year daughter received and the warm environment! Erika patiently explained the 2 options for her hair - my daughter is African American and Chinese so not the "typical" hair usually seen in Vancouver. I felt very comfortable leaving her there alone for 5 hours. Now I am next!

I have long curly thick black hair. A little dry, with damaged ends and in desperate need of some TLC.
I booked an appointment for a cut and straightening treatment, looking for a recommendations form the stylist for
the best treatment for my hair type.
I was blown away by the professional service that Erika and Urs provided. They are truly the heart and sole of Strands salon.
I came out with a stunning below the shoulder haircut and KerasSilk treated hair, feeling like I couldn’t stop smiling.
I will definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erika is lovely and the environment at Strands is very friendly but unfortunately my smoothening treatment only lasted maximum 3 weeks when I was told at least 3 months. Spent a lot of money for nothing. I had the liquid Keratin treatment done at the end of April and I bought also the products to maintain it but I had no great results unfortunately.

I'm so happy with my hair and the entire 4 hours of the treatment I felt like I was hanging out with friends. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have afro kinky hair and went in for a Kerasilk treatment. Erica took her time to give such great care to my hair through the entire process. She turned my kinky hair beautifully straight without feeling dry or damaged and was really fun to converse with. I will definitely be coming back! Probably permanently :)
