This is an organization that help to take care of seniors and disabled in their own homes. Provides home help services, day centre, shopping trips, lunch programs as well as day trips. All to help them be able to socialize with others and not be isolated.

I use their services. Personal care, light housecleaning, laundry and footcare. Shopping trips and other outing and special dinners (Christmas, etc...) People are all 'Friendly' and 'personable'. I personally go for footcare every six to eight weeks ($10).

LHIN Clinic at Storefront Humber July 9, 2019 I have been coming to get care on my back from an abscess since the beginning of January. Originally the doctors at the hospital where I first went did an incision that did not help with the healing of the wound. On the recommendation of Marek and his team of nurses, I went to my family doctor for further evaluation. He subsequently referred me to a surgical doctor. This doctor said it looks like its healing and we don’t have to do anything. At this time I was going to the LHIN Clinic on Lakeshore at least every two days to change the dressing. Marek was not seeing an improvement so he recommended I go back to the surgeon. Thankfully he got involved and I was relooked at by the doctor who made a large cut to remove the source of the infection. This was now into the fourth month of the year going every other day to get the dressing changed. You would think that it would be hassle or drag to be going to a clinic every day or even every other day, but it wasn’t. The main reason are the people that work there. Since the beginning of the year I have gotten to know Marek’s team of nurses and coordinators and they are some of the most professional, courteous and friendly people I have met. They always made me feel welcome, with a smile and great conversation and of course my treatment. In addition, Marek was instrumental in getting this expedited as he contacted the surgeon, well beyond what I would expect is required. If I ever had to recommend a clinic for anyone this would be the place. I personally don’t usually write things like this, but when you come across something in life that touched you in some way, I believe it is good to share. I would not recommend anyone under any circumstances use their wound care services. For over a month, a family member of mine needed to have their bandages and dressings changed. First they said they had a wound care doctor available on a specific day, he came and he was not who they described, perhaps he was a nurse. Secondly, they would not follow the directions that the doctor ordered and there was bandages soaked in treatment which was not only dangerous but a waste of our tax dollars. Thirdly, and this is really ridiculous, they would call and say the patient needed to return regularly when it was just to bill our healthcare for money. The doctor finally had enough and directed us a better hospital to receive critical wound care before things became a total tragedy. If you ever notice the care is not being fulfilled the way it was directed by the doctor, say something! These people do whatever they feel like! They need to get real trained professionals here very badly.

I was sent to Storefront Humber for wound-care after botched foot surgery at St Joseph Hospital, a horrible experience I would not wish on anyone. However, I went to Storefront Humber's wound-care specialist every other day for a month and they were extremely proffessional and caring. It is now 4 months later and all has healed perfectly, thanks to the high qualitiy care I received. I would highly reccommend them to anyone.

I recently had a major surgery which my incision did not go as planned. I was sent to Storefront Humber wound care and it was a amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and the wound specialist is awesome . The whole staff listen to you when you speak and they are very empathetic to your feelings!! I would most definitely recommend anyone to go there !! I thank them again for all they have done for me ?

I am a liposarcoma survivor. I just completed 6 months of acute treatment at the medical clinic at the Storefront Humber location. I received two remarkable services during my time at this Clinic. The first was the excellent medical attention provided by the nursing team. The head wound nurse and team leader was charismatic and engaging and knew how to expertly provide long term wound care management. This was in part because of required ongoing training but more importantly due to his extensive work experience. This group of professionals was always focused on my changing medical needs, readily available to care for unexpected emergencies, and at key times the head wound nurse would suggest a slightly modified approach to help the healing process for me to discuss with my surgeon and/or family physician. The second and as important as the care giving was the empathy and remarkable ability of each team member to help restore, if not raise my mental spirits. For me, this was a critical component needed given the long-term nature associated with my healing. During each of my visits for example, staff members always knew my name and surprisingly were able to recount prior visit discussions to help build the interpersonal connection. The Clinic’s atmosphere was dynamic and lively yet serious and focused when attending to my specific needs. Based upon my experience, comments by H Singer (posting below) are disparaging and underplay what is truly one of the best postoperative medical clinics in the City.
