We were happy to find this place and visit it last weekend. The wine production here is relatively new, but the place has very long history, the stone house was built more than two centuries ago, and still the same family lives there and makes outstanding wines! At the moment there are four kinds offered, tasting is free, but make sure to buy couple bottles with you, you will never regret. The price is 18$ per bottle taxes included. I can only imagine how beautiful this place will be in summertime, looking forward to visit next time! It is definitely a gem of our area.

Honestly one of the best wineries I’ve been to. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable beautiful scenery and relaxing seating areas to enjoy your taste of their wines.

This is a stunning family-owned and operated vineyard in a beautiful scenic area. Joanne and Craig are absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and so friendly. I typically prefer red wine (something like the Marquette which is also delicious) but surprisingly, the Frontenac Blanc stole the show for me. It is so refreshing and has the perfect level of sweetness. Highly recommend making a visit to Stonehouse Vineyard and doing a tasting! It is the best wine I've tried in a very long time.

I had an amazing experience here, Sept 2020, everything was distanced and outside. The lovely tour included all the rich history of the vineyard. We left here with a few bottles, priced $20-36 and had a great day on their new patio. I would highly recommend this vineyard!

With an estate history that goes back over 200 years, there’s certainly great stories within the walls Stonehouse Vineyard. Stonehouse opened its doors this weekend and the first offerings are wonderful. The fortified 1793 was especially tasty. The two white wine offerings, the Frontenac Blanc and Swenson White were also enjoyable.

Had a wonderful afternoon with my mother at Stonehouse Vineyard. We ordered the Picnic in the Glen for 2 with the tour. We were lucky with the weather- had chosen a Friday afternoon to have slightly lighter traffic than Saturday (indicated as their busiest times) and it worked out well. There were about 3 other groups who joined us on the tour and since it's covid times, everyone kept their distance from each other outside so it was comfortable. Craig and Joanne were both pleasant to deal with (Craig does the tour- very knowledgeable of the land and the vines! and Joanne was more than helpful chatting me through all of the options / scenarios on the phone before I was ready to book!). There are multiple patios within walking distance of the main barn for sitting and enjoying your tasting. Highly recommend for a quick pit stop or a longer visit (we were there for 3 hours total with tour, tasting and picnic tasting basket with local food samplers).

The BEST ? This was my second time visiting the vineyard and I cannot wait to go back! Joanne & team are so attentive when I was trying to plan a bachelorette party and their wines awesome (deep red-coloured rosé!!). Bonus: every table gets "the best view of the vineyard" so you can't go wrong.

If you're thinking about coming here, DO IT. :) You will not be disappointed. We recently visited for the first time and had a tour + wine tasting + cheese/snacks and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. First of all, the land is beautiful and well taken care of. It's a romantic little setting with tables spaced really well on the patio. Craig ran our tour with a refreshing sense of honesty, and shared the vineyard's rich history with us. Both Craig and Joanne (the owners) know a ton about grapes and wine and answered all of our questions with fascinating expertise. The wines were absolutely delicious (we walked away with several more bottles than we planned for haha!) and we can't wait to come back. The season is over at the end of October so you can't currently come visit for a tour or tasting, but their bottle shop is still open. If you go to pick up wines, consider the Marquette Reserve. It costs a bit more but was worth every single penny.
