★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you head to the Stewart Mountain trailhead at the end of Stewart Mountain Road you are in for a treat. Park on the side of the road and be prepared for a great outing with multiple trails. You are actually able to connect to Mt Work on Minnis Road and even all the way south to Thetis Lake. But for this outing to get to Stewart Mtn Summit head past the gate and follow the gravel road for a while looking out for a trail sign on the left that points you up hill to the right and that’s the turn for the summit.
If you get up to the Summit then enjoy the panoramic views from the bluffs and carry on down the other side on the main trail and finished up connecting with the Scafe hill loop.
Because there are so many trails it is helpful to have a good sense of direction and a gps track. The Scafe Hill loop trail can be followed to bring you back out to where you parked.
