★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute and cozy cabin with easy accessible to some of Southern Alberta’s nicest provincial parks. We had a great stay at Stepping Stone cabins in Beaver Mines, and highly recommend a stay to anyone looking for adventure and relaxation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kevin is truly a welcoming and informative host. Cheerful greeting on arrival and at morning breakfast. Looking forward to returning here. Crowsnest coffee and blueberry pancakes were a real treat. Fresh eggs from the chicken coup rounded out a perfect stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little cabin with cozy wood fire place and balanced VHS collection (Brave heart and 3 Indiana Jones movies among the highlights). Hot tub also excellent. Would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful cabin! The rooms are beautiful and clean, large hot tub to soak after a long day's hike, and BBQ and all kitchen amenities. The owners are friendly and personable. Definitely will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two of us stayed in the Turtle Mountain cabin, and it was definitely snug and cosy (translation: You can pretty well touch all walls from the bed). That said, this is a place to come for the experience...being in breathtaking nature.
Kevin is an incredibly kind man, and he has thought of all the details and then some (ie. handpainted flowers on the cabinets, Crowsnest Coffee in the kitchen and homemade soap in the shower, the most comfy bedding I have ever slept in, the classic VHS tapes, and the fairy tail-like path leading to the cabins). We ate breakfast and BBQ'd on the shared porch and used the hot tub twice (a cadillac model!).
We will be back! Thanks Kevin & family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give them 6 stars if I could! The property is quiet and peaceful. The fire pit makes it feel like a camping trip, and yet the hot tub and the cabin give a sense of luxury. There was construction outside when we were there (not the hosts’ fault) but Kevin handled it with grace and even let us check out later. Will come again!
Ps. The quiet area behind the cabin is perfect for a morning coffee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eagle Cabin. Very comfortable and roomy. A high-tech / low-tech fusion. Rustic log cabin with tank water supply and local septic system, WiFi, digital climate control, central and local heating, cassette clock radio and big Sony smart TV, CCTV, remote controlled digital thermostat, 40 year old coil element stove, spiral log staircase, heated tile bathroom floor with digital control, cast iron bathtub, Netflix, Chromecast, electronic front door deadbolt, space heaters with digital displays and handheld remotes, area lighting everywhere, motion controlled lighting on and near stairs and loft balcony, Ikea sofas and chair footstool, Ikea kitchen cabinets, makeshift shower in tub with hand spray. One bathroom for 6 people, so make up a schedule. Shelves and drawers galore. Amazing place. Warning: Not safe for toddlers.
