The Caretakers were so very nice and informative. It was clean and organized. Had a dip in the river. It is right beside the road which is quite noisy but calms down in the evening. Recommend for an over night if you are on a long haul.

We spent 3 nights at that campsite and would definitely return. There are several garbage/recycling bins throughout the park and the same applies for outhouses. The outhouses were some of the cleanest ones we've used. Staff was on site regularly, cleaning outhouses and hauling the garbage/recycling away. Although all campsites have easy access to the river, our preferred choice for the future would be the campsites on the lower end (closest to the river) due to more shade and less highway noise.

I always drove by and paid no attention to this site. It's a tiny park with no obvious immediate attraction. However, we enjoyed our stay. The facilities are well-maintained and there are lots of interesting local backroads to explore. A word of caution - watch out for the poison ivy! There should be better signage. It's all over the place on the riverside in the park, so accidental exposes must happen often.

Nice large sites with lots of space in between. Dry camping with outhouses. We come every year as it’s one of our favourite provincial spots. Camp host very nice and keeps sites clean.

Well-kept campsite with access to the river. Friendly staff. Good location just outside of Hedley. Main downfall is that some of the campsites are meters away from the highway with scarce trees surrounding them, and you can hear the cars wizzing by. Seems a bit unfair that you pay the same price to be right beside the road when others have a forested, riverside spot.

A quiet relaxing spot east of princeton that's great for its relaxing atmosphere and clean camp sites. Spent 5 days there and each day 5 or more hours sitting in the river relaxing with a group of friends.

Might be on the side of the highway but it's a really beautiful campground.

Provincial campsite with 25 sites along the Similkameen River and Number 3 Hwy in BC. Beautiful location and easy access to the river which we took advantage of on the hot summer days we were there. Since there are only 25 sites, camper noise was limited which was nice. Road noise was noticeable but didn’t bother us too much. Only pit toilets and you need to pump your own water.
