★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each time I call in to get some information on my account I have to wait between 30 and 40 minutes. Today I waited 49 minutes to talk to an actual person. And yet they tell me all the time on the recording that we will be with you in a second. Call centres horrible absolutely horrible. No need for wait times like that. Remember where your money is coming from it's coming from us people that choose to do business with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended SCU Steinbach asking for two $50.00 bills to be withdrawn from my savings account. I swiped my membership card and was asked for photo ID. Presented my VALID Manitoba driver's license and was told that I could not with draw money because my driver's license would expire in six days. Teller explained that money can not be withdrawn from an account if the customers drivers license expired within 10 days of the date of withdrawal. The teller suggested that I renew my license and then return to complete my request. I asked why such a policy was in place and the teller obviously didn't know as she just reported it is SCU policy. Emailed SCU asking the same question and got the same response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a simple question about our mortgage. Called the Steinbach number. Waited for 63 minutes on hold to be told that I would have to give them my phone number and a lender would call me back. Turns out the Steinbach number re-routes the call to a call center in Winnipeg.
Can we say frustration?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never had any issues. When applying for a mortgage I really appreciated that they took our spending habits into consideration when giving us a pre-approval amount, instead of just going by some standard amount that may not accurately reflect how we live.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid off mortgage in full 4 years ago and just recently noticed it’s still showing up on my credit report as unpaid. Stay AWAY from this bank. They do not follow the law and completely destroyed my credit that I worked hard to build.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST bank possible!! We paid off 2 loans in FULL over 2 years ago, yet it still shows up when we get credit pulled to apply for a mortgage, saying it’s been deferred but we still owe. Was told already back in 2020 it would be fixed. Yet 2 years later, it still shows we owe. This bank is horrible. Will never deal with them again.
