About Stages School of Dance Cranbrook
Stages School of Dance has 2 large, fully equipped studios with a dance store on location. It is currently the only facility of its kind in the East Kootenay. Dancers have the option of taking classes once a week or multiple classes per week depending on their age, level, and ability. We offer an exam program for dancers interested in ballet, tap, and/or jazz. The ballet program is based on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus (RAD) while the jazz and tap program is based on the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT) syllabi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sheri Green is terrible to deal with. She has a group where she shares information for the locations. Anytime there is a question that hasn't been answered with her newsletters or posts, instead of addressing the question she deflects or just straight up deletes the question on the post. She even removes the members that ask questions she doesn't want to answer. That is what happened to me. I asked a question relating to a costume that was paid for and never received. She deleted my question, removed me from the group and THEN posted in the group another vague response. She refused to even entertain any refunds for the costumes or for the fact that we have not received in person dance classes since March therfore voiding our contract. Everything is "out of her control" so its not her problem. You're told to expect answers for questions by certain dates, then those dates come and go with zero information, leaving everyone confused and wondering whats happening. Terrible communication, rude and just downright unprofessional. It's a shame because my town has such limited resources already and this business just isn't worth dealing with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm ,caring,environment with trained professional teachers! Staff are highly trained with numerous teachers on staff. There is opportunity to discuss training with teachers and coordinators for anyone who would like to have input into their dancers training. Parents are invited to discuss any concerns or goals that they have for their children. Communication is the Key to happy dancers!
