Keep looking for someone else, a broker is your best bet for good pricing and options. Still billed after canceling with plenty of advance notice! I advised them twice, well in advance (2-3 months!) that I was cancelling at end of policy, which was the right move since they upped my rates pretty significantly after 2 years with no accidents or tickets and they didn't give any explanation or attempt to advise me in advance of rate increase. I didn't bother with 'stop payment' just in case because it costs me a bank fee and I GAVE THEM ADVANCE NOTICE TO CANCEL! Left me with an overdraft and bank overdraft charge on Christmas Eve, won't be refunded for 10 days. When I called to get it sorted, was told 'yes I see it all in the notes here' so does that tell me that it was deliberate or a lack of proper processes on their side? I found a broker that locked in better coverage for almost $900 cheaper...seriously...go to a broker.
