About St. Peter's Lutheran Church
Pete Metzger became our pastor in July 2018 after serving a congregation in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for 5 years. He is a 2013 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin where he earned his Masters degree in Biblical Languages and Pastoral Ministry, after completing a four-year Bachelor of Arts program at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.
He and his wife, Lydia, love living in Alberta where they can enjoy classical music at the Winspear Theatre one day and hike to the top of Eiffel Peak the next!
In 2021, God blessed their family with the birth of their son, Franklin, a proud dual citizen both of America and Canada, but - much more importantly - of earth and heaven by the grace of God through the sacrament of Holy Baptism.
