★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pulled my kid out of this school. Guidance was a joke to deal with. Bullying and torment occurred with no consequences. Uniforms are expensive and the strictness even in shoe wear is completely out of hand.
No correspondence with home regarding worrisome marks. Over populated and certainly not offering the 'family feel' as they promote at the open house. My son will go to the public school next year as that's a huge step up from the lack of support at St. Max. I will be following up with the board as well. High school is hard enough without this kind of environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school is a joke. The office staff is often rude to students and guidance is pathetic. The guidance counselors almost never listen to the students and several times I had to get parents to call guidance before I was even able to make an appointment. They would much rather sit around and do nothing all day than do their actual jobs and help students. Many students were punished for being on their phones and for being late, when my teachers were on their phones and late to class more often then any students were. Teachers were often disorganized, unprepared for class, and horrible at giving grades back in a timely manner to students. The school was set in controlling every aspect in a student's life, and to never let the students think or act for themselves. There were some teachers who I did enjoy being taught by, but the majority didn't take their job as an educator seriously. Classes were a complete waste of my time and I am so glad I have graduated so I don't have to go back.
