1--Why should I give to the Church?

a) To act responsibly with God’s creation and to account of our stewardship.

b) To show that we can share and become the person we would like everyone else to be: generous, selfless, loving and supportive.

c) Christians have the responsibility to aid and support God’s community. Offering our gifts is what enables the churches to respond to those in need and to provide services in places where we cannot be.

2--Why should I give to the Parish

a) Without the support from parishioners and friends, the parish cannot fulfill the needs of the people of God and the parish community.

b) The main resource of the parish is the Catholic people, who believe in and have been moved by the Catholic faith to wish to pass on this legacy.

c) A shortage of clergy has resulted in increased territorial boundaries for priests, additional costs for travel and accommodations’ and the cost of hiring qualified people.
