This school is terrible. The teachers are leaving 5 star reviews to hide that fact that 4his school is an absolute joke. They don't have doors on the bathrooms and don't care about you or your privacy. Id rate 0 stars if that was an option

Despite strict Covid regulations in Alberta JP2 continues to deliver a high quality education for our daughters. The teachers stay connected and search for ways to make classes meaningful and interesting. Thank you to the administration, teachers and support staff for all the hard work and compassion you provide our kids everyday. May you all have a Blessed Christmas and stay healthy and safe.

i genuinely hate this school. told one of the staff about how the teacher kept hitting me with a book pre hard and nobody cared. also i got suspended for 5 days because i hit a kid back for self defence. usually when they check cameras they say “ oh look there’s a teacher you should of went to the teacher” but not this time cause there was no teacher and i still got suspended. the other kid that hit me first got suspended for 5 days. i shouldn’t of got in trouble at all and honestly if there was a teacher even id still hit him back out of reflex

This school used to be run well by the principal Mrs Thompson, she was fantastic kind and organised, and easy to talk to, it is too bad that she is no longer there. Now the new principal runs the school like a dictatorship, the kids are treated somewhat like prisoners, she has major control issues. here are a couple of examples. The kids barely are allowed to take their masks off long enough to eat and drink during the day, if they stand up to eat, they get yelled at for that too. The dress code apparently does not apply to the grade 10 students, they seem to be able to wear whatever they want. The graduating class made a design for school sweaters that they wanted to purchase and then the principal swoops in and changes it all to what she wants. She will not listen to any of the parents ideas for grad, she shot down every idea that was not her own. She also called a student to the office the other day and made him change his review of the school from a 1 star to a 3 star, last time I checked we had freedom of speech and were entitled to our own opinion. There are some good teachers at this school but honestly I will not be sending my other two children to this school and do not recommend sending your children there either.

this school is absolutely terrible. any reviews saying it’s good are bots or fake. Mr Mac is the worst principle i have ever met in my life. someone in my family overdosed at school and i was not informed about it untill i got home to my mother worried. i was told by my teacher, “if it involved you, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED” as you can see that never happened. he does not care, especially for the well-being and safety of all students attending Jp2. change needs to happen but it definitely won’t while he is in office.

the bathrooms have no privacy and theres literally only two stalls open in the girls bathroom upstairs, the other two have been closed for months and one of the open ones hardly even work. they also always smell terrible even if they get cleaned. even during breaks and at lunchtime they would only let three people at a time in the bathrooms, like im sorry but i need to use the bathroom my bladder is not going to wait for your stupid rule

You're better off homeschooling you're children. Bad experience at this school. Children should be allowed to express themselves in a manner that should motivate and express themselves in future and career they want to expand on. We need to acknowledge that kids these days have motive we no longer follow with opportunity's we didn't have back in the days. in grand prairie we should take advantage of technology and further push what students are capable of. I know as a community we can grow and learn that even gaming is a career if pursued as a business or online shopping. We can do better GP! Lets work together on the next meeting and focus on how we can help put students pursue their passions!
