★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local parish. Have their own elementary school. Saturday anticipatory mass at 5pm. Then three masses offered on Sunday: 8am, 10am, and at noon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at 480 East 4th Avenue in south Vancouver. This is a medium size catholic church just off of Fraser Street. The church is very popular with the local community hosting many celebrations in their rental hall ( birthdays, wedding receptions etc.)
There is also a small Catholic school adjacent to the church.
Typical weekend mass times are Saturdays 5pm
Sundays 830am 10 am & 4pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly parish, especially at the annual Christmas novena.
But, if you like good music stay away from the 8 am mass on Sunday. The guitar player likes to play everything hootenanny style, whether or not it suits the song being sung. When the choir sings, one or two start on the first note, another one or two come in a couple of notes later. It usually takes to the middle of the second bar before the whole choir is singing. The soloist doesn't know that she should blend in with the choir during the chorus. Also the choir members each sing to their own beat. Doesn't do much to enhance the prayer experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many years ago I did brickwork at this church and enjoyed good times with pastor Ernie.....as a protestant I didn't call him father....he didn't mind. He had this big dog called Leica.......I attended his memorial service as well... havery a great day everyone
