Asked if they could help me with a foreign license conversion and basically told me they are too busy and that I should contact Transport Canada if I have any questions. I know what the requirements are, just need a flight training facility thats willing to help me get it done. Drove all the way from Saskatchewan.

I chose SATC to do my CPL multi/ifr and I have nothing but praise for all of the staff. Everyone is overly friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the quality of teaching is far superior to when I trained with Cabair in UK. If you are looking to flight train I don't think you can do better than SATC. For career pilots they also have excellent industry links and are very highly regarded in Canada.

First this isnt a school. This is a business and they love your money. I started not too long ago and they change their rules constantly in order to make more money. An accident is bound to happen at this school and they should be investigated. Students fly when tired or sick, otherwise they get charged for aircraft time, instructor are assigned too many students and are tired, they make you fly lesson plan who have nothing to do with a ppl license for the sake of making a few bucks. They keep raising the price for fuel even when aviation gas price is at its lowest for years. Make yourself a favor and pick a different business.

I did a discovery flight here and it was an amazing experience with my instructors Alex and Davis! I would surely go back to this place to train for my PPL and CPL. They have an exceptional safety record and the planes are reliable and fully maintained. If you are looking for a flight school then this is the one! ?

Very disorganized flight school. Crammed 15+ people into a room that barely fit 8, for flight ground school. Management doesn't seem to be concerned with comfort as the more people they can squeeze into the classroom the more $$ they make. VERY uncomfortable being shoulder to shoulder in a tiny room for 3 hours twice a week, especially after spending $800 for it. Either find a larger classroom to accommodate or limit the class size. I cant speak to the quality of flight training as I was so disappointed with the ground school that I never bothered to start flying.

Flight Instructor Jay took myself and my boyfriend out for a Discovery Tour this evening and he was great - my boyfriend took control of the instruments during the flight and mentioned that Jay made it easy to understand and easy to become comfortable and familiar with the flight instruments. We both really enjoyed ourselves and the unique experience, and appreciated the great service!

Great school. Completed Night Rating, CPL, Multi, Multi-IFR, and working on Instructor rating. Professional instructors, inspiring atmosphere, and competitively priced. No problems getting a plane booked as there are plenty of planes to go around. Also, planes exceptionally clean/safe with constant interior updating and an in-depth maintenance schedule. Awesome 182 for rent for longer cross country trips. Two twins for Multi engine and IFR training. Great ground school that worked well for my busy work schedule. Instructors all seemed very passionate about their respective subjects. Made a lot of great friends with students and instructors that I'm sure will lead to great connections in the industry down the road. Recommend this school for everybody.

I've been training at SATC since September 2013 and have completed my CPL, multi, multi-IFR and now am working on my instructor rating. The instruction I've received here is excellent, it's easy to book planes into desired time slots with a little advanced planning, the maintenance on the aircraft is meticulous and the college's twin engines are larger and faster than those at some of the other area flight schools. The C-182 is also really fun to fly and it's a tremendous asset having access to a glass cockpit.
