★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jacqui Kaese and Spotlight Academy is a shinning beacon for all those who want to explore their passion in the art of acting. Not only is Jacqui monumentally talented in so many ways, (so many?), she is also highly respected. In her classes she is amazing at sharing her knowledge to help you on your journey in finding who you are as an actor and how to grow. You will also find out who you are as an individual on this voyage...this has been, and continues to be, an incredible personal positive transformation for me. I'm very thankful for the opportunity and Jacqui's guidance. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing acting school, an amazing teacher, and so welcoming. I had the privilege of filming a documentary at Spotlight with Jacqui and her students, and I could not have felt more welcome. It was like a family.
What Jacqui particularly contributed was so invaluable to the film, I couldn’t have asked for more. The subject of the documentary was a former child actor, trying to once again find himself and his love of the craft after years of addiction. Her place in this person's recovery and where he was at the time...she was the person he spoke most highly of, as he was finally able to action his dreams back into play, without judgement. Seeing Jacqui in her element teaching the craft, and seeing the response of the students, it's a place where any budding actor will feel safe, supported, and encouraged in their journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jacqui Kaese will always be one of the most influential acting teachers in my life. She steered me in the right direction in my work and career at such a young formative age. I started taking acting classes at Spotlight Academy when I was only 8 years old and she was able to mold my wild imagination and natural inclination for acting and opened my eyes to the potential of the work. Honestly, the film acting technique is so deep inside of me now that I don’t have to think about it and that’s because Jacqui taught it to me at such a young age. I have gone on to excel in film acting at Studio 58, and on big budget movies, and even in professional Theatre. I know I have a leg up because I really haven’t let go of what Jacqui taught me even though I’ve gone on to train at Studio 58 (which I also highly recommend for serious dedicated actors over the age of 18). Her essential message is still always there and I’m very grateful for that. She also happens to be very well connected with the top casting directors and agents in Canada, which gave me many amazing experiences. It’s very easy for me to recommend Jacqui highly as an acting teacher. Looking back now, I remember clearly being able to work in a very deep way with Jacqui even when I was kid and I know that is a very rare thing in a teacher. She’s truly truly the real deal! I know I owe a great deal of my success to Jacqui Kaese and I’m very lucky that my first acting teacher was so gifted!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jacqui is such an amazing, thoughtful, brilliant and caring individual. I'm 34, and have enrolled in the academy to cultivate acting as it's something I've always wanted to do. Since I've been attending , Jacqui has blown me away with her wide knowledge base, firm grasp of the craft, dedication, insights, experience and professionalism.
If you're considering taking lessons, I could not recommended spotlight academy more. We are lucky to have someone like Jacqui passing down her expertise and energy.

The training and workshops offered at Spotlight serve actors at any level of their career - from the beginner’s basics to workshops with some of the top casting directors around - Jacqui and Spotlight deliver!
Not only does Jacqui possess a wealth of knowledge about numerous aspects of the industry, she also has one of the biggest hearts full of passion and love for her students and the craft. She has been such an integral part of my journey in so many ways. Her support, encouragement, knowledge, passion and commitment make her the powerhouse player I am so blessed to be able to call a mentor and friend.
